These general terms and conditions apply between you and Brasserie Britannique BV.
The information on this website is regularly updated and supplemented by Brasserie Britannique BV. However, Brasserie Britannique is not responsible for imperfections or incomplete information in the content offered.
These general terms and conditions are between you and Brasserie Britannique BV and apply to all bookings of hotel rooms.
You agree to make reservations in good faith for legitimate use by you and your invited guests and not for any other purpose, including but not limited to reselling, inadmissible allocation or posting on third party websites, or speculative, false or fraudulent make reservations or reservations pending demand.
These general terms and conditions and all bookings made under these terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Dutch law. This choice of law is without prejudice to the consumer protection afforded by provisions that cannot be derogated from by contract on the basis of the law that, if there were no choice, would have been applicable in your country of residence.
3.1 Damage to our premises and property
Damage to our property and property caused by you or your party during your stay and items missing after your stay will be charged or charged to your registered credit card and shipped to the address known to us.
The management cannot be held responsible for loss, damage or theft of your belongings in the hotel or restaurant.
3.3. Found objects
All items found in the hotel or restaurant are recorded and kept for three months. If left behind objects must be sent at your request, this is entirely at your own expense and risk. Brasserie Britannique is never obliged to send it.
3.4 Non-standard Luggage
It is not possible to take non-standard luggage with you in the hotel room, unless this has been agreed in writing with the management in advance. In consultation we can store your non-standard luggage in special rooms. Luggage that is larger and heavier than normal is labeled as ‘non-standard luggage’. For example, skis, golf bags, bicycles, larger musical instruments or wheelchairs.
3.5 Unforeseen circumstances
Brasserie Britannique BV accepts no liability and does not pay any compensation for not providing the services contracted by us as a result of circumstances beyond our control: (natural) disaster, fire, (acts of) war and terrorism, strikes, riots, civil disorder , government regulations, disputes, adverse weather conditions or any other exceptional and catastrophic event, circumstances or emergency that make it impossible, illegal or prevent guests from staying at our hotel.
If you are a minor and you are not accompanied by someone aged 18 or older, Brasserie Britannique BV reserves the right to evict you from the hotel. Brasserie Britannique BV is an adult-only hotel, children are only allowed in special circumstances and only after written approval from the management.
3.7 Photography and video
Any photo shoots, audiovisual recordings, reproduction or display of images including the grounds and building of the hotels or restaurant of the Brasserie Britannique BV, other than for strictly private use, are subject to our prior permission. Brasserie Britannique collects your personal data during your stay. This data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Statement and the applicable laws and regulations of the GDPR. Data collected by third party booking parties using cookies etc. while browsing their website is beyond our control. We refer to the privacy statement of the agency with which you made your booking. For more information about your privacy within Brasserie Britannique, please refer to our Privacy Statement on our website.
3.9 Rates and tourist tax
The room rate agreed upon when making your reservation applies to your booking. Meals, drinks and other extras are not included in the room rate, unless otherwise agreed. All charges include service and VAT and must be paid in local currency. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Tourist tax applies. The city tax can change between the time of booking and the time of your stay in our hotel. The tourist tax in Maastricht is as follows: € 5.01 per person per night.
Always write down your credit card information to guarantee payment. Please note that we are obliged to cancel your reservation if we do not receive a credit card as a guarantee.
Throughout the building, all guests can enjoy our free Wi-Fi services. Our wireless network is provided without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee access to our wireless network will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free or meet your requirements at all times. Brasserie Britannique is not responsible for the security, integrity, accuracy or completeness of any information you send or receive while using our WIFI. You may not use our WiFi network for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited.
4.1 Cancellation conditions
Free cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before the day before arrival. If the cancellation is made within 48 hours before the day of arrival, 100% of the reservation value will be charged.
4.2 No show
In case of a no-show, the entire amount of the reservation will be charged.
Check-in is possible from 3 pm to 8 pm. Earlier check-in is possible based on availability. Later check-in is possible with management approval. If you are not at the hotel by 20:00, we will contact you. If we cannot contact you and you arrive later without contacting you, Brasserie Britannique BV cannot guarantee that you can still check in and your booking is no longer valid.
Check-out is possible between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Earlier check-out is possible in consultation and only after written approval from the management. Later check-out is possible based on availability until 14:00 at the latest, at a rate of € 20 per hour. If you check out after 11.00, this is considered a late check-out and you owe an amount of € 20 per hour.
4.5 Changing your booking
If you wish to change your booking, neither the price nor the availability of your booking can be guaranteed. It is recommended to notify changes to your reservation as soon as possible.
4.6 No smoking
The hotel, including all rooms, and the restaurant are non-smoking. If indications of smoking are found in your room or in public areas, you will be fined € 150 for the cleaning costs.
Pets are not allowed in the hotel.
4.8 Additional guests
It is not allowed to receive guests in the room without written permission from the management.
Reservations can be made in the restaurant and on the terrace, depending on availability.
